This one’s easier than the defrag article I posted a while ago. I mean if you’re not much into computers, it’s the easiest thing to do. For an easy hard disk cleaning, you can just empty your Recycle or Trash bin regularly. The files or programs that you think you’ve deleted can come back and hunt you since they’re still in the Trash bin. And yes, they’re still taking up space in your hard drive. Another thing you can do is to clean the temporary files that your system keeps for a little documentation.

Ahh.., defragmentation. I hate this chore but I bear with it since it keeps my hard disk neat and organized. And from what I hear it’s one of the most neglected maintenance processes that PC users forget. It’s one of the Tools option when you go to the properties of Windows (C:). What defrag does is to lessen the amount of fragmentation in file systems. It’s like a librarian who detects which book is not in its proper shelf, gets this particular book and place it back to its proper place with all the other books of its kind.

Fujitsu Asia introduced the MHW2BK series of Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA) hard disk drives (HDDs).
Made mainly for blade server, industrial, robotic, surveillance and telecommunications operations, the MHW2BK series of HDDs has been considered with a spindle speed of 7,200 revolutions per minute (rpm) and a maximum data rate of 3 gigabits per second (Gb/s).
The product line also incorporates features to decrease the adverse effects of rotational vibration (such as read or write failures) which may arise when multiple drives are mounted on a single chassis and rotated at high speeds, for increased operational stability.
