Running Disk Defragmenter

While it’s a fact that running your disk defragmenter is a bit of a hefty job, it still is nonetheless important in maintaining your hard disks’ smooth operation. Disk defragmentter rearranges the files in a your hard disk, ensuring for more efficient use of hard drive space. Running disk defragmenter not only improves your hard disks’ health but it also boosts startup / booting times of your PC or laptop.

Running disk defragmenter is easy – just go to the Start Menu, look for System tools under Accessories, and then run Disk defragmenter. Now, to make the waiting easier – the bigger the hard disk, the longer HOURS it will take – simply run the program when you don’t plan to use the computer, like when you go to bed or when you’re planning a movie / TV series marathon.
